Although a pound of Sephra chocolate will feed 20-25, the size of the fountain limits the number of guest able to access the fountain at any given time. A host or hostess can serve any party size of his or her choosing. Larger parties simply require much more effort and time to make sure the chocolate fountain has sufficient chocolate to run properly and feed guests.

The ratio of oil to chocolate when using any chocolate other than Sephra Premium Fondue Chocolate is approximately 1 cup of oil for  every 5 pounds of chocolate. More or less may be needed depending on the specific brand.
